silent you walk away from us
leave us without say goodbye
so fast u leave me
you was my good , sweet , funny , humorist , sociale father
the example of my life
at the day of ur whole life u are a lovely persoon
you gave and u still give us a unforgetable, irreplaceable love
you are my father and my best friend
in my hardest moment you are my wall and i can lean on u
u are the person who i can share wit
u are the good hushband for my mom
u provide us a goodlife
and now u are going away
going to a rest place somewhere
you didnt feel pain anymore
Papa .. Rest In Peace

In a project largely kept under wraps, Futura Laboratories along with Medicom Toy and Casio put together a special collaboration which features both a classic DW-6900 watch and Medicom Toy Bearbrick. Despite the multiple colors seen on the watch, the balance of color is kept in check with the all-black body and black LCD display. The Bearbrick follows a similar pattern as each body part is done up in a different color. Set for a mid-December release. Pre-orders are currently being accepted at the FL Shop as of tomorrow.

NEW BALANCE X LIJFSTIJL X ROTTERDAM (COCKROACH)
Cockroaches are one of the oldest and most highly evolved creatures on our planet and as we all know, they are even able to survive nuclear disasters (much like Arnie). They are also able to constantly adapt themselves to new surroundings… also like Arnie! Lfstl decided to use the ubiquitous dirty bug as inspiration when creating their new New Balance 577 collabo. Chosen by the guys because of its timeless character and sporty lineage, the 577 is an all-time Lfstl favourite, though somewhat hard to procure in Holland.
Inspired by their hometown, the guys produced the 577 ‘cockroach’ as a homage to Rotterdam, a city with many contrasts in architecture, a side-effect of the rebuilding phases the city faced after WWII. The use of materials and colour also reflects the aforementioned contrast, showcasing the strength and energy of the working city. Grey, black and white are regularly used colours in all Rotterdam buildings. Petrol indicates the industry and harbour, but also the river that runs through the city and divides it in two. Purple translates innovation in architecture and Rotterdam’s open-minded character. In choosing the materials, Lfstl reflected their design experience in sneakers and their deep knowledge – gum sole, pigskin suede, black premium croc, white patent and perforated suede… the end result is classy and rather more subtle than such a volatile mix would indicate.
What better way to make this classic NB silhouette more accessible to the windmill city? October 25 release.

NIKE DUNK X DQM

Nike Sportswear are killing it at the moment! With a focus on imperial craftsmanship, NSW has linked forces with New York butcher boys DQM to create these three nubuck, tonal, perforated perfections. Apparently inspired by Dave’s bikes, the colours are kept as simple and non-intrusive as possible. From Ice Green to Industrial Blue and Cave Purple, the Dunks just dropped this weekend at DQM with all other stores to follow Sept 27th. Time to get a cut of this premium sneaker meat!

In Nike SB’s upcoming October releases, Australians/Melburnians are once again the focus of their very own regionally exclusive shoe as they look to a local landmark for inspiration. Based on the well-known meeting spot, the Flinders Street Station, many have chosen the train station’s clock as reference as well as a popular skate spot with its gold rail. The upper is comprised of canvas, suede and mesh with a distinct blue upper (based on the Port Philip Bay) and a brown midsole (based on the Yarra River). As mentioned these are slated for an October release, however much like Dunk Low Homers, these are limited to Melbourne only.
