NIKE AF-1 (SLAMJAM)

Marking the 26th Anniversary of Air Force 1 and the launch of the Nike Sportswear collection, Slam Jam, one of the first Italian streetwear companies founded in Ferrara by Luca Benini in 1989, is creating a new version of the historic sneaker. With its simple design and careful choice of material - soft ruched leather - the AF1xSlamJam reflects to the utmost the Slam Jam spirit. The AF1xSlamJam is offered in four colors: red, black, gray and yellow.Red and black, in fact, are the two historical sections of the company, as on their website www.slamjam.com: the red, sportier and more dynamic; the black, more mature and refined. Both merge into gray, the color of concrete, the omnipresent and supporting element of the new Slam Jam location, designed by the architectural office of Diner & Diner, which opened last year in Ferrara.

NIKE DUNK X DQM

NIKE DUNK x DQM

Nike Sportswear are killing it at the moment! With a focus on imperial craftsmanship, NSW has linked forces with New York butcher boys DQM to create these three nubuck, tonal, perforated perfections. Apparently inspired by Dave’s bikes, the colours are kept as simple and non-intrusive as possible. From Ice Green to Industrial Blue and Cave Purple, the Dunks just dropped this weekend at DQM with all other stores to follow Sept 27th. Time to get a cut of this premium sneaker meat!

Nike SB Dunk Low “Gold Rail”

Posted by: Eugene Kan / September 06, 2008 / 21 Comments

In Nike SB’s upcoming October releases, Australians/Melburnians are once again the focus of their very own regionally exclusive shoe as they look to a local landmark for inspiration. Based on the well-known meeting spot, the Flinders Street Station, many have chosen the train station’s clock as reference as well as a popular skate spot with its gold rail. The upper is comprised of canvas, suede and mesh with a distinct blue upper (based on the Port Philip Bay) and a brown midsole (based on the Yarra River). As mentioned these are slated for an October release, however much like Dunk Low Homers, these are limited to Melbourne only.
